CONTACT Plus includes all supplemental services to our core Crisis Line Program, further helping people move from breaking point to turning point. Our goal is to help remove barriers to successful completion of a caller’s plan of action.
Transportation
Domestic violence, homeless and runaway callers are provided free transportation to local shelters using a taxi cab service. This program is also used to remove men, women, teens and children from life-threatening situations.
Prescription Assistance
Callers to the crisis line are provided free one-time assistance (up to $100) as part of an action or safety plan for life-sustaining medications including mental health medications. These funds are eligible to cover co-pays for those with insurance.
Callers in prolonged prescription needs are offered a discount card which can provide up to a 30 percent savings on some medications. This card can be used for all family members.
Follow-Up Support
This service is offered to callers who are suicidal, in an effort to reduce the caller’s pain and hopelessness.
